Dhanush’s next film is Vengai. After the success of Uthamaputhiran, Dhanush is very happy. Now he is going to work with Director Hari for his next film Vengai. Initially the film Vengai has been titled as Aruva but Hari, the director of the film changed the name as Vengai. Hari’s earlier film with Surya is Singam. Now he titled the film as Vengai. Tamannah is the heroine for this film Vengai.Hari who is known for commercial success, he teaming with Dhanush for the first time, who has earlier worked with Simbu (Kovil), Surya in three films (Aaru, Vel, Singam) , Vikram in 2 films (Saamy, Arul), Sarath Kumar (in Ayya), Vishal (in Thamirabharani), Prashanth ( in Tamizh) and with Bharath (in Seval).Hari is famous for masala films and all his earlier films are super hit. Dhanush said that he liked the posters of Vengai and he is very interested to work with Hari. Director Hari revealed that this is also a mass masala film like his earlier films. Actor Raj Kiran is doing an important role in the film Vengai. Devi Sri Prasad is the music director for the film. Dhanush has his platter full ,he is working on Mapillai, Aadu Kalam with Vetrimaran alongside Tapasee Pannu and with his brother Selva Raghavan Maruvan, with Andrea Jeremiah.About film director Hari said that, ” If an anger person takes knife its wrong, but if a guard takes knife its not wrong is the one line story of the film. In this film Dhanush is acting as anger village guy. Tamanna comes as village girl. The film story is based on Sivagangai district and so we have planned to shoot in Sivagangai itself. ” said so Hari. Latest buzz is that hot actress babe Tamanna who appeared till today in jeans,salwarkameez would be appearing completely in half saree for this film.
