The progress of the movie is moving in fast pace.It is already known that Tollywood’s Prince Mahesh Babu has signed up the remake of Bollywood’s biggest block-buster, 3-Idiots.But the reports say, mega director Shankar is wielding the megaphone both in Telugu and Tamil Versions, where the former will have Mahesh and the latter have Vijay in the lead roles.We have already mentioned that Ileana will play the female lead in both the versions and the actress was paid a whopping sum of 1.5 crores in both versions. Now the latest buzz in the industry is that Mahesh was reportedly paid a single payment of 5 crore rupees as an advance and made a deal that the balance 3crore rupees will be paid later. The actor has given 60 days of call sheets for this particular flick. The movie will be made under the banner, Gemini Film Circuit.
It is a common feature to see the lead heroes getting more remuneration than the director of that film but here is something reverse. The news is that the showman of the south Shankar will be getting more than prince Mahesh Babu for the remake of the Bollywood hit '3 Idiots'. Sources reveal that Shankar would be getting a whopping Rs 12 crores while Mahesh will get less than that. The success of 'Robot' has taken Shankar to a different league of directors now.
