Previously their would be male oriented films and no women oriented films.But now the trend has changed if we look at the films were Bubbly girl Charmi has acted like "Anukokunda Oka Roju", "Mantra" these two films were super hit films and then many films came out in the similar way but not as hit as these films.When the hot actress Trisha was asked about this question she replied saying that "In those days there were hero oriented films where in u caould see heroine only in glamorous role and only for songs.But in recent days the situation has changed a little bit not completely Even today Heroines are in the films to add glamour to film.If u look at the film "Arundhati" we can say that what i said is wrong because the whole film goes around sexy actress Anushka where in u can see her as Jejamma in the movie.I can say that this is the only film which has breaked the tollywood records in female lead.This film was a turning point to Anushka .She was an actress who started her career with glamorous roles in "Super","Don","Vikramarkudu" etc and suddenly she has appeared in heroine oriented film and that too the film gave her a huge success really we can say that she is luck enough.And even i wouldnt have rejected to play Jejamma role if the director would have approached me".What Trisha says seems to be correct,Yes this south Indian Actress Anushka is really a lucky star now she is on the top and many other heroines like Kajal Agarwal,Samantha are competing with her.
