The latest Sanjay Leela Bhansali film ‘Guzaarish‘ starring two of the most sought after Bollywood actors, namely Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has hit the theaters and the reactions are pouring in. The film, despite an average start at the box office has managed to impress the critics who slammed the earlier film of the director. The films of Sanjay Leela Bhansali are known for their visual opulence and magnificent cinematography and this one is no exception. The director has also composed the music of the film. ‘Guzaarish‘ actor Hrithik Roshan said he felt humbled by the reaction of actress Shabana Azmi whom he regards in high esteem. Other noted Bollywood actors also praised the performance of Hrithik Roshan in the film.Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s father-in-law, ace actor Amitabh Bachchan also applauded the film ‘Guzaarish‘. He worked with the director previously in ‘Black’, a film which won a number of awards and critical acclaim.

when the reporters asked him about the performance of his daughter-in-law in the film and said that she has put in a “restrained and dignified” performance.Trend-setting designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee created the entire wardrobe ensemble Guzaarish, styling Hrithik Roshan in rose-coloured glasses from the hippie era of the ’70s, and created decadent, floor-sweeping garments for Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s character. He mentions, “The glasses were dark humour, that a guy who has nothing to look forward to is wearing rose-tinted glasses. The clothes are also influenced by the Portuguese character that Goa has, which is where the movie is set.”Using a solitary rose in her long locks or wrapping a scarf around her head, Mukherjee has created a look of old world glamour. “Scarves were always a hot trend, and now that Bollywood’s picked it up, you see everyone wearing it,” mentions Aparna Badlani, co-owner of city-based fashion boutique Zoya. “In fact, it’s become more of a man’s accessory than a woman’s.” Badlani also points out the long lengths that Rai Bachchan sports, saying, “We over did the whole kurti phenomenon so you see everyone, even stars like Vidya Balan, moving towards longer silhouettes.”
